The wide range of jobs are available. Traditionally, most graduates from the Department of Electrical Engineering have entered a Power sector public enterprises such as Korea Electric Power Corporation, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co. and Power companies.
Most graduates join not only conglomerates of electrical and electronic fields such as Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, Samsung SDI, LG Display, Samsung Electro-Mechanics and Samsung LED, but also power equipment business such as Hyosung and LS Industrial Systems.
In recent years, with the IT convergence trends of machine and heavy industries, the number of graduates joining conglomerates of machinery fields such as Hyundai Motor Company, Samsung Heavy Industries, Hyundai Heavy Industries, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co. and Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Co. has been increased.
From graduate school program, master's and doctoral degree, students can work with professional researchers in the field of industries listed above and are able to grow as researchers of the national and public research institutes and university professors.
